Around (Araitz)
The valley of Araitz is situated in the heart of the Basque Country, between the western green slopes of the Pirinees and the mountain range of Aralar. Six villages make up this green valley crossed by the Araxes river: Azkarate, Arribe, Atallu, Intza, Gaintza and Uztegi; villages where the ancient legends still remain in the colective memory of the people and many artists found the perfect refuge and quietness.
